Worden Hall, Worden Lane, Leyland PR25 3DH
A Georgian hall in the middle of Worden Park — the celebration runs through the evening.
[EDIT — confirm with the venue which postcode to print. PR25 3DH is the hall's own address; some sat-navs do better with PR25 1DJ, the park entrance off Worden Lane.]
Parking. Worden Park has a large car park off the main entrance on Worden Lane, a short walk from the hall. It's free, though there are usually time restrictions — worth a taxi if you'd rather leave the car at home.
By train. Leyland station is about two miles away, with taxis outside; the town centre is a quarter of a mile from the park.
Taxis. Two local firms, both 24 hours: Avacab on 01772 424242, the largest in South Ribble, and South Ribble Taxis on 01772 610610. Uber covers Leyland too.
Do book the journey home before the evening rather than at midnight — that's when everyone wants one at once.

It's a Saturday at the end of July, so rooms go early — worth booking as soon as you know.
Where we're up to
Your being there is the whole point of the day.
We've had a home together for a while now and want for very little. If you'd like to mark the occasion with something, we're putting a little aside towards our honeymoon — but please treat it as entirely optional.
Formal — lounge suits, and dresses or something similar. Drinks are on the courtyard and the lawns are real grass, so heels may want a plan B.
We've decided on an adults-only celebration, so that everyone — parents very much included — gets a proper evening off. We hope you'll understand, and if a sitter would help, do ask and we'll pass on local recommendations.
